You'll be working with natural materials to create your own handwoven lampshade including willow, rush and willow bark. The uprights will be attached to a lampshade frame using a technique called scalloming. This involves using a knife to creating thin, flexible willow strands which are then tied onto the frame.
You will then be guided through different weaving techniques to create pattern, structure and texture. Two frame sizes will be available to choose from, allowing each person to create a unique piece that fits their interior space.
All materials and tools will be provided.
