Chris Matthews is a greenwood craftsman who creates shrink pots from green wood. Green wood logs are hollowed-out, then fitted with a base, and as the wood dries it naturally shrinks around the base to create these beautiful vessels.
Painted shrink pots are hand-painted using milk paint.
Sizes are approximate. Each item is hand crafted and therefore unique.
