Caro’s studio is nestled in The Surrey Hills, where the landscape is very much a part of daily life.  She finds great inspiration in its colours and textures. Caro also draws on music in her work, and feels a synergy between music and her weaving process.

Caro weaves with natural fibres - mill-end yarns sourced from luxury mills, thereby keeping waste to a minimum - and on large countermarch looms. Favouring these beautiful old looms over ‘high tech’ modern alternatives, because they allow for a more contemplative process, exploring textures and the celebration of imperfections in her woven fabrics.
